Spectating and Participating
IMPACT Day 9
It was a day of taking two different roles, the one of a
spectator and the one of a participant.
Conferences presented by people from different countries were
thoroughly intriguing as well as perspective broadening. It was yet another day
of realizing technology taking a pivotal part of the music industry and of our
future.
In the afternoon, I participated in a recording session of a
composition. It was an awesome opportunity to multi-task, playing the piano
part and singing all the voice parts. It was such a pleasure to contribute and
cooperate with the composer and the recording engineers.
Application of IMPACT Philosophy
IMPACT Day 8 (week 2)
We further explored the technological means to digitize our expression. What an intriguing time it was to witness and understand the practical application of the program's philosophy. It was thought-provoking, indeed.Today, we took a glimpse at the future of music and art.

Searching for Inspiration
IMPACT Day 7 (week 2)
Our
group explored various places in Manhattan including the Grand Central Station,
The Central Park, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Although displayed art
works at a museum are wonderful stimulation for our minds, they are certainly
not the only place where we can discover art that inspires us. Our
surroundings, from rustling ambience of a busy train station to the
juxtaposition of nature and civilization of the central park, strike our senses
unexpectedly and breathe us inspiration. Sometimes, the sheer austerity of the
mundane life knocks on our minds in ways we do not expect nor imagine.

More means of Expression
IMPACT Day 6 (week 2)
Meditating session was quite refreshing as it helped to focus on
inner peace, fostering our mind to connect to one another and to feel the
energy of other participants.
